Hello, world — why I built this site
A quick note on starting a personal site, writing in public, and what to expect here.
Welcome to the very first post on my new site. I wanted a place that’s mine — not a feed, not an algorithm, just a corner of the internet where I can think out loud.
Why bother with a personal site?
A few reasons:
- Ownership. Platforms come and go. A site I control doesn’t.
- Thinking in public. Writing forces clarity. Publishing forces honesty.
- A trail. Future-me will want to see how past-me thought.
What you’ll find here
Mostly short posts about things I’m building and learning. Some technical, some not. No schedule, no pressure — just whatever feels worth writing down.
The best time to start writing was years ago. The second best time is today.
Thanks for reading. More soon.
